Sustainability as a Lens to Examine Cedar Rapids

Sustainability is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. To ensure a sustainable Cedar Rapids’ revitalization process, we are evaluating decisions based on the framework below to capture and prioritize actions.

Achieving greater sustainability is an ongoing process that will continue over the coming months and years. Initial ideas for integrating sustainability are noted on each Open House board with the leaf symbol to the left.

We welcome any ideas that you may have for us to use in the next stage of the revitalization process.
