The Flood 2008 Fund, established by The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation to respond to the affects of the historic June 2008 flood, is accepting grant proposals from nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organizations and public agencies in Linn County.

Funding is available to address needs that have developed as a result of the flood of 2008.

Flood 2008 Fund grants will be allocated to address short, intermediate and long-term solutions to the flood.

Organizations may request funding from $500 to $25,000 per proposal. Applications may be submitted beginning August 14, 2008. Paper copies of the application will be accepted however, organizations are encouraged to apply online.
